My Wife Has No Emotion: July Premiere & New Key Visual Revealed!
The anime version of My Wife Has No Emotion, which was previously announced, has set July 2, 2024 as its launch date. There was also the revelation of new cast members and a new main visual. Under Fumihiro Yoshimura’s direction, Tezuka Productions is animating the series.

Yoshino Aoyama as Akari Kosugi and Yu Serizawa as Super Mina are the two new cast members. Zenjiro Ukulele is in charge of character design, Takumi Ito is in charge of sound direction, and Mitsutaka Hirota is in charge of the anime’s series composition.
The remaining cast members of My Wife Has No Emotion are:
- Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Takuma Kosugi
- Konomi Inagaki as Mina
- Yuu Serizawa as Super Mina
- Yoshino Aoyama as Akari Kosugi
The manga series My Wife Has No Emotion was created by Jiro Sugiura. Beginning in March 2019, it was first released as a webcomic on the writer’s Pixiv account. Later, in August 2019, Media Factory obtained the rights and licensed it for use in their Monthly Comic Flapper magazine. Since then, the series has been collected into seven volumes.
The manga is published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment, which says this about it:
A lonely salaryman’s romantic story of a bittersweet relationship with his domestic robot. Takuma is a single man who only goes to work and returns home. Too exhausted to perform housework, he chooses to hire a robot to clean and cook. Takuma makes fun of “Mina-chan” for being such an excellent housewife and suggesting that they be married. Mina takes Takuma’s joke literally, and gradually they begin to perform more activities together, such as going on an outside picnic. Over time, Takuma begins to develop feelings for Mina; yet, is it possible for a human and a robot to ever be in a loving, equal relationship?
