On Monday, May 13, 2024, the official X (formerly Twitter) handle for Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magainze disclosed that a manga adaptation of the Mononoke anime film Karakasa will air on Comic Days. The manga will begin on May 26, 2024, and the first volume will be available on Amazon on July 23, 2024. The Japanese release date of the anime film Mononoke is set for July 26, 2024. Remarkably, the film was initially scheduled to release in theaters the previous year. However, the film was delayed due to a number of factors, primarily related to the production. Kitsuneko Nagata, who designed the movie’s characters, will illustrate the manga version.
