The new studio opens for business on July 1.
Bellnox Films, a new animation production studio that Kadokawa is launching this month, will formally open for business on July 1st, the company announced on Tuesday.
New Anime Studio Bellnox Films Is Founded by Kadokawa
The representative director and president of Bellnox Films is Koji Kajita, a former executive of Gonzo and the founder and president of David Production.
Incorporating a “new production style” and evolving the industry through a new system unrestricted by job titles or fields of traditional anime production are the goals of the new production studio.
According to Kajita, his goal is to help the animation production sector become more logical and methodical so that it can expand in a flexible way. For this reason, Bellnox Films is concentrating on “creating beneficial works.”
After the affiliate firm Kinema Citrus and the subsidiaries ENGI, Studio KADAN, and Raging Bull, Bellnox Films is Kadokawa’s seventh animation production studio.
